Call for Berlin’s biggest Art Fair
Emerging gallery programs, project spaces and artists are invited to apply for the 12th edition of the BERLINER LISTE. The oldest and biggest art fair in Germany’s vibrant capital will be held from September 17th to 20th 2015 in the unique, raw and urban atmosphere of Kraftwerk Mitte, the former East Berlin power station. Deadline for applications is July 31st, 2015. As a forum for emerging, international art at affordable prices, the BERLINER LISTE attracts every year a wider audience of art lovers and collectors.
For the third time, the Photography Section will be a special highlight for photography lovers and collectors. With its long traditions in photography, Berlin plays a significant role in the photography world. The section will be given visual prominence within this year’s exhibition space. International galleries and foundations focused on photography are particularly encouraged to apply.
Dr. Peter Funken is going to curate also this year’s fair. “Berlin still is a place for the new and particular, a spot for experiments and initiatives. Therefore it offers a chance and the potential for those who associate contemporary art with adventure, introspection and awareness. We encourage the new and young emerging galleries and positions to join the fair. If your price segment varies from 500,00 to approximately 7,500 Euros, the BERLINER LISTE is the right platform for selling.”
112 exhibitors from 24 countries presented their work to nearly 11,000 young collectors, art lovers and fans at last year’s show. “Meanwhile, the fair has developed into the most important platform for aspiring galleries with young art in Berlin, ... .” pointed out art magazine “kunnst” in the September 2014 edition..
